Lindenwood University women defeated Life University 39-17 today in the opening of the women's D1 Elite (D1A) competition.
The D1 Elite season kicks off this weekend with Life University at Lindenwood in what will be an intriguing kickoff to a tight but highly competitive year.
Lindenwood University defeated Central Washington 53-29 in a clash between Women's D1 Elite teams, and the victory probably secures Lindenwood as the top seed going into the D1 Elite playoffs.
Lindenwood Head Coach Billy Nicholas continues to adjust his lineup and tinkered with it again this game. All 23 players saw time against the Wildcats.
Votes from college teams and from players and fans from around the country have finalized the five finalist for the MA Sorensen Award.
