What was really great about this past week in D1AA was how many close games there were.
We had a tie, and at least three high-level games decided bby a try or less. This is exciting for the division. You want like-minded, like-ability teams playing against each other.
We have a little bit of shifting this week in our NCR D1 rankings.
Walsh lost big to Army and drops a spot because of that. But, as usual, we try not to react too quickly on one result. Wisconsin comes into the Top 20 after a nicely-taken win over Michigan State. We also have Syracuse and Virginia Tech lurking close to the Top 20.
With the results from the Pacific Nations Cup, we now know how the Finals Weekend will go in Salt Lake City.

The US District Court for the Western District of Texas has dismissed National Collegiate Rugby’s lawsuit against USA Rugby.
The dismissal is based, at its core, on the fact that the Ted Stevens Act covers oversight of amateur sports in the United States. And the Ted Stevens Act specifically says this:
The top-rated teams all made it to the Women's Rugby World Cup semifinals, and, as expected, France-vs-Ireland was easily the closest match of the weekend.
