GRR: LA 7s
Waiting until the last minute to buy your LA 7s tickets might be a mistake warns Tournament Director Dan Lyle.
Speaking during an interview this week at The Dig (Dignity Health Sports Park), Lyle acknowledged that the stadium is smaller than Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, and fans have to be prepared for that.
It will be party time in the Los Angeles area for the LA 7s as fans get to enjoy a wide range of off-field activities during the tournament week.
Fans of international 7s have only a couple of days to lock in the lower tickets prices for the LA 7s.
Held February 29 to March 1, the LA 7s will host the 16 top men's 7s teams in the world as part of the HSBC Sevens World Series. This is an excellent Olympic preview, and a chance to see major international superstars at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, CA.
Eagle Impact Rugby Academy will likely be sending three teams to the LA Invitational February 28-29, said Head Coach Salty Thompson.
The select-side program will enter two teams into the U18 Boys 7s brackets, EIRA Red and EIRA Blue, and a U16 team, as well.
The LA 7s higher-level seats are going very quickly, and it's actually not a surprise given that the prices are much more attractive than they were when the event was held in Las Vegas.
