GRR: Rankings
It was a quiet weekend for the top-ranked teams, but after that it was very noisy.
So noisy, in fact, that we've expanded out rankings to 40, and we're getting close to the 50 we normally rank.
Several games gave us more of a look at where the teams fall in the Men's College rankings.
Certainly Central Washington's relatively emphatic defeat of Arizona gave CWU a well-deserved bump to #3. BYU< having tied Central, moves up right with them.
When judging who should be ranked #1, sometimes you have to balance wins and losses; not just look for an undefeated team.
Now, you'd be forgiven for assuming that Life University would garner the #1 team after beating Lindenwood, but that's not the case.
We waited for the Herriman vs East game to be completed to see if Herriman would do enough to get to #1.
The Charlotte Tigers won in convincing fashion over Phoenix Alpharetta and with that happening you certainly can't unseat a #1 team.
This, despite Genesis looking very good in beating United 29-7, the Tigers remain on top. Genesis, however, moves up to #2.
