Ohio State Joining Midwest Conference

Ohio State University's men's team has announced that it will be joining the Midwest D1A Conference for the fall of 2026.

OSU will remain playing a Big 10 schedule, but with the Big 10 being the last remaining top-division conference in which some members are CRAA and some are NCR, there certainly has been some difficulty in keeping all of that together.

D1A Rankings for 2025-26 Week 21

In the end we don't have a ton of changes in this week's D1A Rankings because most results happened as expected.

We have #5 Lindenwood beating #8 Arkansas State 45-25 ... that's pretty much what you'd expect. San Diego beat Long Beach State, which was maybe a bit closer than expected. Cal won twice.

Lindenwood Settles In to Beat Arkansas State

The Midwest Conference is back in action with Lindenwood taking on Arkansas State in Jonesboro, Ark. Saturday.

Lindenwood overcame some early stiffness to pulled away in the middle chunk of the match and win 45-25.

The Lions, said Head Coach Josh Macy, needed a little time to get things right on defense and in their set piece.

Out-of-Division Action for D1A Teams

Cal Poly defeated Trinity Western 44-36 in the first game of the Spartans' trip to Southern California.

For Trinity Western this was another good test and they will play UCSC in a couple of days. For Cal Poly, this was another improved performance.

Head Coach Chris O'Brien said his team has been working on its defensive structure, and that is beginning to show.
