Is the SCRC The Toughest Conference in D1AA?

The SCRC has almost certainly become the toughest conference in D1AA.

That's a strong statement, because the MAC and the new Midwest D1AA both are pretty strong, too. However, with the slight realignment in the SCRC by having three teams play a lower tier schedule, the top six are all play-caliber teams. And some are championship-caliber teams.

Men D1AA Rankings 2026-27 Week 1

We are opening up our fall season with preseason rankings for Men's D1AA.

As we are making a ton of guesses and assumptions, but that's OK because the rankings will change. Ranking these teams will be difficult in some conferences, because SCRC has reduced its top tier to six. However, to helped us, everyone plays everyone, which is nice.

Wesleyan University CT Men's Rugby Seeks Head Coach

Wesleyan University men's rugby out of Middletown, Conn. is seeking a coach.

The program, which plays similar colleges in the New England area, was founded in 1962.

Prusmack Awards Handed Out Over US Rugby Foundation Weekend

This past weekend during the US Rugby Foundation Hall of Fame awards event, the Prusmack Award winners were recognized.

The Prusmack Award is given to the top collegiate 7s players in the nation—one for a men's player, and one for a women's player.

This year, and, actually, not for the first time, both winners come from Life University.
