Coaching and Operations Position Open at West Point Rugby

West Point Rugby is looking for an assistant coach.

The position is described as a Coordinator, Mens Rugby Ops, and Coaching. The position is not open for a visa-carrier, so this job would be an excellent chance for an American rugby coach looking to build their coaching career.

The Men's Rugby Operations and Coaching Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Head Men’s Rugby Coach by coaching Cadet-athletes, recruiting, monitoring Cadet-athletes’ academic progress, scheduling, managing travel, and general Cadet-athletes support and oversight. This position reports to the Head Men’s Rugby Coach.

About 35% of the job will be spent on Operations, 25% on coaching and player development, 20% scouting and analysis, and 15% recruiting and support.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship, must be eligible to work on a military installation and submit to a background screen, and must have a valid driver's license. That Operations and Coaching Coordinator will act as an extension of the Head Men’s Rugby Coach and has direct access to the Cadet-athletes. The employee must maintain a high level of professionalism, moral and ethical character, and be a role model.

The position runs from September 1, 2025 through April 30, 2026, and the salary is based on experience.
