For the third year in a row, Life University plays St. Mary’s, and perhaps the first hope is that it will be an entertaining, open game. The last two have been marked by aggressive defense, and the idea that the team that makes the fewest mistakes will win.

Denver may well be the final DII swoop from the Notre Dame College Falcons, as the men’s program is slated to move up to DI after the 7s championships, and the women’s team is expected to move up to DI after this coming Saturday’s DII spring final against UC Riverside.

Columbia, SC - University of South Carolina Student Life announced today a significant gift from the Smolka Family to the men’s rugby program. The gift fully endows a men’s rugby scholarship fund in the name of former player and current Carolina Rugby Foundation board member Jeffrey Smolka, contributing to men’s rugby program and recruitment enhancement.

The USA 7s CRC invitational has confirmed its pools for the May 29-31 tournament to be held at PPL Park in Chester, Pa.

It’s been a weird season for Grand Canyon University, but things may be looking up as the Lopes look ahead to next year.

Head Coach Ryan Kelly had to find games where he could as GCU wasn’t in a conference, and unfortunately that meant that in the middle of the spring season, teams weren’t available, and some that were available backed out.
