College Men
USA Rugby has selected its Collegiate Honor Roll, which is made up of collegiate rugby players with grade point averages of 3.50 or better.

In what used to be a rarity promoted by a few teams, now most men’s clubs competing for a 7s national championship have recruited college players, including underclassmen, to help them.
Members of the Middle Tennessee State University rugby program were invited to help teach tackling to the Oakland HS football team in Murfreesboro, Tenn. last week.
“It went so well they asked us back for a second day,” said MTSU Head Coach Jody Hensley.
USA Rugby South has named two teams to participate in the North American Caribbean Rugby Association (NACRA) U19 championships to be held July 11.
Both teams were named after a series of camps and tryouts through the spring. Only about four college players are on the squad, with the rest coming from high schools throughout the Southern states. Nine states are represented.
A captain, so the saying goes, doesn’t desert a sinking ship.
It’s expected, and honorable; but what if the captain not only goes down with the ship, but helps rescue the ship, and gets it sailing again? Is it too much to call all of that heroic?
University of Delaware rugby captain Chris Mattina may not think of himself as a hero, but somehow he did what seemed impossible.
