Cal may not have been perfect, but they battled enough and got a couple of special plays to emerge CRC winners for the third time in a row.

Captain Jake Anderson provided the winning moment, cutting through the Kutztown defense to score the winner in overtime, but it was Anderson, speaking with Goff Rugby Report, who also saw the problems.

Cal defeated Kutztown on a sudden-death overtime try from Jake Anderson to win the Cup Final of the CRC 17-12 Sunday at PPL Park in Chester, Pa.

This was the third straight time that Cal has won the tournament, and caps a string of six tournaments in which they have finished 1st three times, 2nd once, and 3rd once.

The National Small College Organization finishes up its men's season with the 7s in Chester, Pa., and New England College hopes to mark its move to DI for 2015-16 with a 15s and 7s double.

NEC finally overcame St. John's to win the 15s championships earlier this month. Now they look to repeat in the 7s championship they won last year.
