While smokey skies canceled this week's Rugby Idaho fall 7s, that gives everyone just a little bit more time for teams to figure out how to stop Rocky Mountain's seemingly unstoppable Kennedy Pabst.
The Rocky Mountain men’s D1A conference has officially delayed any rugby until the fall.
The conference, which includes Colorado, Colorado State, Utah Valley, Utah State, New Mexico, and Wyoming will look at what they can do in the spring. However, playing in the early spring is difficult for those schools because it can snow well into March, sometimes later.
The Rocky Mountain Men's DII collegiate conference is joining the National Collegiate Rugby organization.
Founded in 2014, the RMRC is currently comprised of 21 collegiate men’s teams across Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming, with four of them in Men's Collegiate DII.
The Rocky Mountain D1A Collegiate Conference has named its list of top freshmen.
The list The list includes players from six of the conference's eight teams. The list of players was not selected based on covering all positions, but instead on players who made the most contribution to their teams.

The Rocky Mountain men's DII college conference has named its All-Conference team.
The list, not surprisingly, includes several players from the top three teams in the conference, Montana State, Northern Colorado, and Colorado Mesa. Those three produce 13 of the 15 All-Conference players.
