Why are more than a thousand school kids from New York picking up a rugby ball for the first time in their lives next week? The HSBC Rugby Festivals powered by Serevi are making its first North American stop in New York on Monday September 29th and Tuesday the 30th to introduce local youth to one of America’s fastest growing sports.
The San Francisco Golden Gate club is will launch their new Rugby Academy October 12.
The Academy is for players 14-18 years of age, and will meet for an intense series of sessions on Sundays.
The Academy is not designed to take players away from their current HS teams.
It's been a busy summer for the Colorado State University men's rugby team.
While playing rugby is the reason the club exists, there are other things to do, and the players are beginning to understand that it helps to be well thought-of in your actions off the field.
Colorado State University’s Men’s Rugby Club has announced a player camp in conjunction with the Canterbury Rugby Football Union (CRFU) of New Zealand. The camp will involve CRFU coach Tabai Matson running the camp at CSU on the weekend of September 19-21. Matson is the current backs and assistant coach with the Canterbury Crusaders Super 15 team.
