By Samantha Hoegle - Nestled along the coast of Maine is Bowdoin College, a small, liberal arts College known for delicious food, challenging academics, and successful athletics. Bowdoin College is also host to Polar Bear Rugby Camp, July 14 – 17, run by Coach MaryBeth Mathews of the Bowdoin Women’s Varsity Rugby Team.
US Sports Camps has collaborated with State Rugby Organization (SRO), Rugby Oregon, to offer an overnight youth rugby camp held at Oregon State University this summer. Employing world-class rugby figures, including former Team USA players and college coaches, this program is designed to benefit athletes of all skill levels with training on key fundamentals, match play, fitness and more.
SEATTLE – USA Rugby and ATAVUS today announced dates and locations for the 2016 USA Rugby Academy Resident Camps, Powered by ATAVUS, providing a “360° Athlete Experience” for promising men, women, and boys and girls high school athletes.
West Point will be hosting a rugby camp in July, led by Army Head Coach and former USA World Cup veteran as a flyhalf and as a coach, Matt Sherman, and providing a unique rugby and leadership experience for boys who want to develop their skills.
The Institute of Rugby has launched a Total-Athlete Development Program based in San Diego.
The program is for young athletes aged eight to 18. The program runs athletes through eight-week training blocks.
