Winter break is over for the Red River Conference, and it’s back to the rugby field with plenty still on the line.
This weekend, Baylor takes on Arkansas in a clash that will basically decide which of these two could chase for the top. It’s a tough job for either, as LSU is 3-0, Oklahoma 3-1, and Texas A&M 2-1.
LSU defeated Texas A&M 36-26 in the Red River Conference, on Saturday, while Oklahoma put Baylor to the sword with a 37-0 shutout in a pair of results that put the Red River on its head.
Texas A&M may be leading the Red River, and Baylor may be close behind (Baylor to 4-0 with Win Over Texas State), but eyes are also on LSU, especially since the Tigers will face the Aggies this weekend.
Baylor continued its run of strong results this past weekend with a 29-20 defeat of Texas State.
The win makes Baylor 4-0, and the Bears have some momentum as they go into a key Red River contest with Oklahoma this coming weekend.

It was yet another impressive result for Baylor, which almost beat Oklahoma three weeks ago. This season has been a good one for the Bears, but it has also bee difficult.
