GRR: Rankings
As we did with the Boys HS teams, we are looking back at the college rankings over the last few years.
It was in the 2016-17 season that we started to separate out the D1AA teams from the D1A teams in our rankings. For the most part, we used to just mix the D1A and D1AA teams into an all-D1 ranking. At the end of 2016-17 we separated them out.
We tracked the combined final season rankings of all the high school teams from 2015-2020, and we came across some surprises.
Well we thought that since our HS rankings got cut short this year we'd go back in time.
Who are the top-ranked single-school teams over the past six years that GRR has been ranking high school teams.
Hundreds of high school rugby student-athletes have signed up for the GRR Recruiting Data Base, and we have coaches from all over the country using the data base to link up students with potential colleges.

Two of the top three won in a fashion we'd expect. Arizona won and nudges ahead of UCLA (UCLA's ranking ahead of Arizona was somewhat speculative anyway), and despite losing a competitive Grand Canyon rises into our Top 20.
