The LA Sevens is almost upon us as teams are getting acquainted with the area.

The Adopt-a-Nation program is back again and we have photos of the Japan team visiting Riviera Elementary School. Kids at the schools in the program do projects aobut the country they have adopted, and then host the team for some food and some fun.

The USA Men’s 7s team were 2nd in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series before Sydney, and then dropped to 7th.

Little issues with the team’s performance made that big change.

“It’s just ruthless,” said USA Head Coach Mike Friday. “If you get things slightly wrong, a couple of ball presents wrong, that’s the difference between winning and losing.”

The Men's Premier bracket at the LAI is still open for two more teams, but almost everything else is full up.

While teams can join the Men's College/U23 and the Women's College/U23 brackets, the big opening is Men's Premier.
