De La Salle won the single-school cup competition in Northern California, upsetting Jesuit of Sacramento 19-10 to win it.
This was the first time ever that De La Salle has beaten Jesuit in rugby.
Jesuit played well and were quick to the breakdowns and played with skill, but De La Salle was very physical and stuck to their defensive structure nicely.
Phoenix Alpharetta logged two impressive wins over the weekend.
First off, Phoenix took down Georgia Youth Rugby league rival Roswell in a tight 24-17 result. And then they followed that up with a 36-0 shutout over the Tennessee Rugby Academy.

The Woodlands defeated Strake Jesuit 63-12 Thursday evening in Rugby Texas league play to move to 3-0.
It was a solid game for the #4-ranked HS club. The Woodlands ran out to a 35-0 lead at halftime.
