Dalal Joins OTC
Penn State grad BIanca Dalal is off to join the USA 7s Women's team at the Olympic Training Center.
Dalal, a wing, fullback and scrumhalf with the Nittany Lions, was a big part of the Penn State run to a DI title this spring. She also caught the eye of USA 7s Coach Ric Suggitt during the fall 7s campaign.
Penn State Impressive in 7s Win
Unperturbed by the absence of one of the best young 7s players in the USA, the Penn State Nittany Lions still won the Women's Collegiate Rugby Championships 7s invitational tournament this past weekend, defeating a dogged James Madison in the process.
Mel Denham to Coach CWU
ELLENSBURG, Wash. — Following a nationwide search, Mel Denham has been hired as the new women's rugby head coach at Central Washington University.
Denham, who has served as the head women's rugby coach at American International College (AIC) in Springfield, Massachusetts since 2012, will assume her new post on next month.
Penn State Women Superb in Victory
STANFORD, Calif. – Penn State University won its third consecutive Women’s Division I National Championship Saturday with a 38-0 defeat of Stanford University at the Cardinal’s home field of Steuber Rugby Stadium. The two teams played well in their respective Semifinal Friday, but the Final was all Penn State from the beginning.
