GRR: No name
Although only a sophomore, Danielle Ordway is a familiar name on campus. For the third time in her short career, Davenport University has named Ordway as the Female Athlete of the Week. Chosen by the athletic director and media department, the Lowell, Mich., native is the only rugby player who has received this honor.
It was a good start this weekend for Old Dominion, as the Cardinals Men’s DII Conference got off to a start for four of the seven teams.
ODU hammered William & Mary 60-0 in the opening weekend, a weekend that saw James Madison win a non-conference game and Radford beat Mary Washington 40-29.

The coaches from all of the ACRC teams have been asked to vote on their top ten teams each week. The votes are assigned point values, and that produces our Top 20. Not all coaches voted this week, but a significant number did. We will use the votes we received by each weekly deadline.
The Penn State vs. Norwich women’s game last weekend was replete with highlight-reel action, so it’s no surprise that the Aircraft Charter Solutions Women’s College Player of the Week came out of that bout. Penn State prop Beth Rose stood out among the field, and for the reasons one might not expect.
