In a remarkable display in their first ever rugby game, Walsh University secured a resounding victory over Thomas More, winning the preseason match 62-10.
With their 50-19 victory over Tonga in Nuku'alofa, Fiji has taken the top spot in Pool A of the Pacific Nations Cup.
The result also ensured that Samoa would be #2.

The Heart of America Conference kicks off with Iowa State at Iowa on Friday, but there’s plenty more to come.
It is a big weekend in what is mostly the preseason in Men's D1A, NCR D1, and D1AA rugby.
Everyone is still testing each other out ... although we do have the Heart of America coming into the regular season (we'll take a closer look at them in an upcoming article).
