North Carolina Opening Weekend Sees Top Teams Win Big
A win and some tension punctuated the USA U18 Boys Day One at the Global Youth 7s.
The Americans won their first game comfortably despite not kicking a single conversion, and ended the second game opting not to take a conversion, hoping for a comeback.
It was a good day for the USA U18 Girls team at the Global Youth 7s, as the squad finished the day 2-0 in Auckland, New Zealand.
NCR D1's final is a rematch of the 2022 final, and while we hope some things don't repeat this time around, we do want and expect the same intensity.
Of course the 2022 final wasn't ... shall we say ... "entertaining" per sé, what with 11 cards issued ... but the atmosphere and grit is something fans might want to see again.
It's season-opening weekend for the CIF teams in Southern California.
