Lyle Leaves UWS, Joins AEG

White Plains, NY - United World Sports today announced that Dan Lyle, Executive Vice President, Sponsorships has resigned his position effective immediately. Lyle will be joining AEG to help expand their rugby platform in the United States and abroad. UWS and AEG are working as potential partners on several to be announced rugby projects in the United States.

Utah Wins CRC Qualifier in Las Vegas

The University of Utah has qualified for the CRC 7s after beating Notre Dame College in a close, and somewhat controversial final in the LVI at Sam Boyd Stadium.

Utah made the final by denying the dangerous AIC team any meaningful possession, and the Utes did the same against a fast and well-structured Notre Dame College team.

ATAVUS Makes Girls U18 Final, BC Prevails

British Columbia Elite 7s defeated the ATAVUS Selects 19-7 Saturday in Sam Boyd Stadium to win the Girls Elite bracket at the Las Vegas Invitational.

It was an impressive run for the ATAVUS squad, which beat Utah, tied Auckland Marist, and beat Rhino Rugby Academy to make the semis. There they beat the Minnesota Tundra 25-7 to book a spot in the stadium.
