ARPTC Residents Join Atlantis Women
The Atlantis Women are veterans of the Las Vegas Invitational, both in the Open and Elite 7s divisions, but that doesn’t mean the team lacks surprises. The Elite team has, as per usual, paired former 7s Eagles with up-and-comers, and some of these new players have a unique background.
Thunderbirds Look to Defend LVI Title
The Midwest Thunderbirds are on the hunt again. The U23 all-star team is returning to the Las Vegas Invitational and looking to defend its college 7s title. Roger Riley and Steve Murra have also returned as coaches, and noted that this year's competition will produce new challenges.
Atlantis Names U19 Girls for Vegas
The Atlantis Rugby Corporation and APEX Academy have named its Girls U19 squads for the Las Vegas Invitational (Feb. 12-13).
LVI College 7s Teams and PicksThe Las Vegas Invitational has been allowed to reinstate its men’s college 7s competition as a qualifier for the Collegiate Rugby Championships invitational in June. The Las Vegas Invitational looks set to host its usual huge list of teams. Serevi is partnering with the LVI to handle some of the high school tournaments. So Serevi has pinned their name to the High School Girls Elite 7s, High School Boys Elite 7s, High School Open 7s for boys and for girls.
