GRR: US Rugby Foundation
The US Rugby Foundation is thrilled to announce our 19 exceptional student-athletes selected for collegiate scholarships in the 2024-2025 academic year.
Each recipient will receive a minimum of $1,000 in financial support for educational expenses including tuition, materials, and academic fees.
The U.S. Rugby Foundation’s Youth Rugby Initiative is offering a free trip to the HSBC Sevens Rugby World Championship for participants of the Youth Rugby Initiative Program.
Barry, the first woman to lead the 61-year-old US Rugby Foundation (USRF), was the foundation’s CFO and treasurer and brings over 30 years of public service experience in her native Minnesota to the organization. Previously she served as the Treasurer and President of USA Rugby and was inducted into the US Rugby Hall of Fame in 2014.
The Vizzy Scrumble is set for Friday, May 2 in Logn Beach, Calif.
The success of the Nelson College Scholarship program developed through the US Rugby Foundation is pretty evident given that the program has now been expanded to three student-athletes.
