Current Saint Mary's rugby players will be directing the player ID and skills camps this coming August.

Lleyton Delzell, Hunter Chuhlantseff, Joe Yacoubian, and Mario Storti are set to work on the camps. We might also see Erich Storti.

They bring a very current approach to the camps and also serve as a way to show high school players what college rugby is like.

Saint Mary's College of California men's rugby is hosting a High School ID camp on two dates in August.

These camps offer a chance for rugby student-athletes to get exposure and skill development from one of the top collegiate programs in the nation.

(An Opinion Column by Goff Rugby Report)—The Peaks vs Canyons Collegiate Rugby Shield accomplished its goal.

That’s the first thing. Players who might not have received a lot of notice moving into MLR Draft time got a chance to be seen doing good things. For many of them it’s not necessarily about being drafted, but perhaps about being signed as an undrafted free agent.

The Peaks defeated the Canyons 36-17 in the MLR Collegiate Shield Saturday in Herriman, Utah.

The two all-star teams of college players, many of which are applying for the 2022 Major League Rugby Draft (but not all) battled in a game at Zions Bank Stadium.
