The University of Scranton rebounded from a difficult 15-14 loss in the opening weekend of the Mid-Altantic Rugby Conference to down Millersville 33-19 Saturday.
It was a key result for a Scranton team that has some big dreams.
Iowa State was named one of FloRugby's potential breakout DI college teams, and things have been going well for the team so far.
ISU beat Iowa two weekends ago 43-0, getting four tries from center Joe Dillon, and two from scrumhalf Emmett Wagner.
On a hot fall afternoon the Citadel Bulldogs came into Cape Fear to play UNCW and came away with an impressive 45-24 victory.
UNCW flanker Tom McCrimmon started the scoring, pouncing on a loose ball for a 5-0 lead. But Citadel's Daniel Smith took a 45-meter run after being set up by Aaron Moore. Ellison Rourke converted to put the Bulldogs up 7-5.
