We're down to nine teams (not eight), in the DIA playoffs.
Lindenwood put an injury-slammed Wheeling Jesuit to the sword Saturday, beating the Cardinals 89-5. Michael Baska scored three and set up at least two more. Deion Mikesell scored two, and fullback Lungi Tshuma scored 32 points on nine conversions, three penalty goals, and a try. Ashley Harrop also scored twice for the Lions.
Arizona looked very impressive in defeating LSU 30-10 Saturday in the DIA playoffs.
The Wildcats, playing on the road in Baton Rouge, La., spread the ball nicely and enjoyed an excellent game from flyhalf Kyle Rogers.
It’s a quick turnaround from the regular season to the DIA playoffs, but the first round is indeed upon us this coming weekend.
