Army West Point defeated Saint Mary's 20-8 to win the 2021-2022 D1A final in a game that lived up to all expectations.
In what was perhaps a bit of a shocker, certainly it was a surprise at GRR, Saint Mary’s defeated Cal 35-26 in the second D1A semifinal of the weekend to book a place in next week’s championship match in Houston.
The D1A playoffs are down to semifinals, with a chance for someone in the East to make their first-ever D1A final.
