GRR: NIRA Women
Army's victory over Quinnipiac gave the Black Knights a huge boost in the NIRA Power Rankings that not only moved them up to third, but to put them on the doorstep of 2nd.
Harvard defeated a very tough Queens University Charlotte Saturday to the tune of 60-17.
It was an impressive road win for the Crimson, paced by four tries from Lennox London and tries from Josephine Mignone, PK Vincze, Chloe Headland, Charlotte Gilmour, Nafanua Fitisemanu, and Ava Ferrence.
Standings placement and playoff positions are at stake this week in NIRA action.
Here's what we see:
Dartmouth is now secure on top of the NIRA D-I after the Big Green beat Harvard in Cambridge over the weekend.
This was a tense game throughout and it actually wasn’t until the 30th minute that anyone scored. Jordan Duncan finished off a nice sequence to give Dartmouth a 5-0 lead. women's rugby team improved to 5-0 on Saturday with a 26-19 win over rival Harvard.
Dartmouth and Harvard sit atop the NIRA D-I Standings and as fate would have it, those two teams play each other.
