West Point looked very impressive in shutting out St. Bonaventure 29-0 Saturday in Rugby East play.
Ranked #5 among D1A-level teams by Goff Rugby Report, the Black Knights got tries from Isaac Marret, Koikoui Nelligan, Gerard McCarron, and Scharl du Toit to down #16 St. Bonaventure. Sean McNulty converted three and added a penalty goal. Army is now 2-0 in the Rugby East.
The Rugby East saw plenty of drama this weekend as Penn State had to claw back to beat Kutztown 33-30.
Penn State started strong but then Kutztown stormed past. The Penn State players didn't panic, however, stuck to their pattern and started to score tries.
Indiana moved to 3-0 in the Big Ten with an impressive 56-0 shutout of Illinois.
The Hoosiers got two tries each from Noah Brown and Russell Lemaster, while Zach Marsh, Peyton Wall, Dan Hughes, and Dan Murtagh all touched down once.
Despite some cancelations and postponements, we've got Men's D1 rugby going and this week we've got over 40 games in DIA, DIAA, and NCR DI.
