Try-scorers and points machines seem to dominate this week's D1 College Gamebreakers.

Here are the best performers of the week:

Mike Weir, Dartmouth

In a tense 21-10 win over Army, Weir, playing flyhalf, set up the Big Green attack and also kicked two key penalty goals plus a conversion, and a well-taken long-range drop goal, to lead the way.

Andy Guhl, Indiana

In a rough, muddy, low-scoring game, the former Royal Irish prop scored the lone try in a 10-0 IU win.

Ollie Corbett, Brown

The Brown second row was dominant in the lineout and was tough on defense as well as scoring twice as Brown beat Yale.

Jake Kubicki, BGSU

Kubicki's kicking game from the hand was hugely important for Bowling Green in helping the Falcons survive 22-12 over Louisville.

Evan Corbett, Mount St. Mary's

In the Mount's victory over Southern Virginia on Monday, Corbett was directly responsible for 17 points.

Jack Judson, Purdue

The freshman center (previously at Dallas Jesuit) was hugely influential on defense, clamping down on Wisconsin's ball movement and preventing the Badgers from getting any traction out wide. Judson's two tries were just a bonus.

Connor Twigg, Colorado State

The CSU lock was a hard-charging runner and effective in tight for Colorado State in their 30-14 win over Colorado. He also scored a key first-half try.

Max Clark, Cal

Part of Cal's undefeated run in the West Coast 7s, Clark led the Bears with five tries.

Andy Hines, Binghamton

Playing No. 8, Hines led Binghamton's effort in a win over Brockport with two tries.

Brady Thompson, Syracuse

With Buffalo's defense making tries difficult to come by, Thompson's clutch penalty goals were key for Syracuse as they edged Buffalo 24-17.

Aaron Gray, Kutztown

The pacey Kutztown wing scored three tries in a victory over Notre Dame College.

Tyler Walenga, Kentucky

Making his first start for the UK's 1st side, the junior prop scored three tries in a win over Georgia.

Mike Davitt, Binghamton

We don't normally put two from the same team and the same game in a Gamebreakers column, but we do this time. The Binghamton flyhalf scored two tries, and kicked four conversions. In addition, it was his reading of the game that allowed him to make a key tactical change that opened up the scoring for Binghamton, and resulted in three late tries to turn a 24-22 deficit against Brockport into a 43-24 victory. 

Jono Kutzli, Davenport

Kutzli led the way for Davenport over Iowa Central CC with two tries.

Chris Johnson, Fordham

Johnson, playing hooker, was effective in the lineout and in the mauls, and scored four tries as Fordham beat Stony Brook.

Andy Ros, Western Washington

WWU beat the Seattle Orcas in their warmup to league play, and Ros, playing No. 8, scored three tries and was the offensive leader for the Vikings.

Kevin Connelly, Cortland State

The Cortland flyhalf was at the center of Cortland's best effort of the season, beating Oswego 32-7.
