Ben Withey and Luke Geister-Jones, Minnesota

The front-rowers led the effort up front as the Gophers edged Iowa State.

Joe Hamm, Syracuse

The Orangemen fullback scored two tries and led an impressive open field attack as Syracuse beat Binghamton.

Matt Conforti, University at Buffalo

The inside center was a leader and inspirational on defense as Nazareth defeated Oswego.

Russell Lemaster, Indiana

The IU No. 8 scored a key try and was a powerful presence in a 26-0 shutout of Notre Dame College.

Ben Haugh, Navy

Haugh led the defensive effort in Navy’s win over Southern Virginia.

Lewis Naylor, Mary Washington

The freshman was among several UMW players scoring their first try for the Mothers in a defeat of Maryland. Naylor, in fact, scored four.

Adam Pidedjian, Tufts

The flyhalf led a snappy backline effort on offense and on defense as Tufts edged UMass 17-15.

Aidan Metzner, UCLA

Metzner was a massive presence in the lineout and in tight, showing plenty of pace and movement for a second row.

Six tries for Sabelli helped pace a big win for Fordham over Albany.

Braxton Heard, Tennessee

The wing scored two tries in an MVP performance in a close win over Salisbury.

Will McNamara, Western Michigan

The No. 8 was a powerful presence and a leader in WMU’s win over Ohio.

Steven Rohde, Army

A huge work rate and plenty of rugby intelligence allowed Rohde to help carry the defensive effort in the Black Knights’ win over Penn State.

Conor Forrestal, Ohio State

Pulling the strings nicely on attack Forrestal set up his teammates nicely as they beat Michigan State.
