LAFAYETTE, Colo.(USA rugby/Atavus Release) – USA Rugby announced a long-term extension with partner Atavus to facilitate the USA Rugby Academy (USARA) – a critical part of USA Rugby player development – at locations across the country to identify and develop the nation’s top young players.
USA Falcons player Megan Foster says that getting together with a bunch of players you don't necessarily know well and creating a cohesive whole is a learned skill, and perhaps one of the harder skills to learn at the elite levels of rugby.
With some results still to be confirmed, here's how it looks in the Boys Elite 7s at the LVI.
It's early days in the Boys Elite HS 7s at the Las Vegas Invitational, but already we know some stuff.
1. Taniwha out of New Zealand is the real deal. Not huge or imposing, they are very smart and see space very well. They hammered Upright Rugby (score unconfirmed), and while the Utah Cannibals pushed them, they are currently 2-0.
The Las Vegas Invitational Boys Elite 7s is set for Friday.
