There is no truth to the rumor that we have Kentucky at #1 because they're the team we have the best photos for.

Week 1 of our Men's D1AA rankings, in which any D1AA team that plays in the fall is listed, regardless of which umbrella they operate under.

There have been a few results and, yes, we've used them. But it's important to take these types of early results with a grain of salt. We also know that some teams that have not played at all are, really, just an educated guess.

We have left Trine off this Top 30 (expanded from 25 for reasons), and that's because we want to see how they start. 

Remember, playoff games carry more weight than league games, which carry more weight than non-league games (usually), which carry more weight than preseason games, which carry more weight than non-league tournament games.

So we have a lot more to lift this fall.
