Old Glory DC Rugby is supporting a separate non-profit to develop young rugby players in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area.

Young Glory is a non-profit that provides sporting opportunities in rugby for kids from the age of five years old up to 23. They work throughout the DMV area and even further afield, including Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

The Great Falls Medstar tournament wrapped up last weekend with 41 teams in action in Great Falls, Va.

The tournament fielded teams as young as under 6 and up to High School level, with 17 clubs from Maryland, Virginia, and DC involved.

Atlanta Youth Rugby has announced Colton Cariaga as its first ever Director of Rugby.

Cariaga was the first coach from Life University to join AYR in its founding year. He coached the Inman Middle School program over the 2014-2015 season, and has been an AYR Board member since 2016.

Loudoun County Rugby and a Barbarians team of players from around Northern Virginia took the titles at the Rugby Virginia State 7s championships in late July, with U12s, U14s, and U18s championships on offer on the day.
