CHICAGO – Sonny Bill Williams returned to the New Zealand All Blacks for the first time in two years and gave the sold-out crowd at Soldier Field a show Saturday as the Eagles fell to the Rugby World Cup champions, 74-6.

So game day is upon us, finally, and the Eagles will face the Haka just before 3pm Central Time.  Lots of fans and ALL the photographers will be looking forward to that much-beloved bit of rugby theater, but what about after the Haka? There’s a game to be played, and a performance to be logged by the USA.

The USA has reportedly made a late change in their lineup for the USA v New Zealand game in Chicago Saturday.

Tim Stanfill is now on the subs bench in favor of Troy Hall. There is, apparently, some question regarding Hall's eligibility, although that is not confirmed. Hall earlier qualified for the USA on residency.

CHICAGO – While more than 61,500 rugby fans inside Soldier Field Nov. 1 will witness history as the world champion New Zealand All Blacks play their first match in the United States since 1980 against the USA Eagles, many more will be tuning into the match around the world on TV and online.
