High School Boys
Rugby NY's boys 7s season is well underway, with Pelham and Keio'FASNY looking to repeat in separate brackets.
The series is open to any teams - single school, combined schools, or clubs pulling from several teams. This is so players can get as much time on the field as they wish.
So far the teams participating include:
Fairfield, PlayRugby, NYRFC, OGRCC (all clubs)
The Boys High School National Championship Committee is pleased to name Salt Lake City, Utah as the host site for the 2019 Nationals on May 16,17 & 18.
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina - Rugby athlete Alex Cleary (Ferndale, Washington) was selected as Team USA's flag bearer for the Opening Ceremony of the Summer Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018, which runs from Oct. 6-18 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the United States Olympic Committee announced today.
Since the inception of Fall 7s rugby in Utah, Herriman HS has won the series every year, and halfway through the season it looks as though that trend will continue.
Rugby New York is kicking off its fall HS 7s with a 12-team competition.
Seven teams will be in the Boys Varsity bracket, and five in the Boys JV bracket.
This is the third year of the Rugby NY 7s. Pelham won the varsity bracket in 2016 and Keio/FASNY won in 2017. Pelham took the inaugural JV competition last year.
