West Coast Teams Set for Round 2 in Stanford
The second leg of the West Coast 7s will kick off this weekend at Stanford University with 23 teams playing in four brackets.
While the WC 7s hangs its hat on its men's collegiate competition, all four competitions have robust attendance.
The Men's College bracket welcomes Cal, which won the 1st leg of the series in LA, and the Bears are in a pool with San Diego and Oregon.

Bradenton, Fla. — Europe’s biggest rugby sevens series, LIT7s, is crossing the Atlantic for its first-ever US tournament. The LIT Florida International 7s will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Premier Sports Campus in Bradenton, Florida, during Thanksgiving weekend.

The West Coast 7s series has expanded to three events and the stage is being set for the series to have a farther-reaching influence.
For the organizers, however, that’s not necessarily the end-game. Andy Doukas, Warren Spieker, and Broadcast Lead Jeremy Ognall want to see something major, and national in scope.
