Men DII College Playoff Picture Latest
The national playoffs for Men's DII College are fast approaching with the play-in games in less than two weeks - here's who is in, or who is close:
Rugby Northeast
Roger Williams had 1st sewn up and won anyway, finishing 8-0 in regular season play.
Towson, Salisbury to Capital Final
As expected, Salisbury and Towson will meet for the Capital Conference championship once again as both won semifinal games this weekend.
Towson, ranked 2nd in the conference, defeated conference #3 Georgetown 38-22 to move on, while Salisbury defeated UMBC 81-20.
Utes Lead in West DIA
Utah is now 4-0 in the D1A West after beating Air Force 41-30 Saturday.
The game wasn’t quite as close as the score implies, as Air Force scored two late tries to close the gap.
KU Win Sets Up Rugby East Finale
Kutztown University can clinch the Rugby East Conference if the Bears score four tries against Penn State next week, or lose by seven points or less, or tie, or win.
Of course, KU wants to win, but even a competitive loss will do the job.
