Bowling Green may have won the MAC playoffs last year, but they still remember being beaten by Western Michigan in the regular season.
That game was in the backs of the minds of the BGSU players this past weekend as the Falcons took on the Broncos in yet another meeting. Both teams were undefeated, of course, and so this game had plenty of meaning.
Central Washington University won its eighth-straight Men's Northwest Collegiate Rugby Conference National Qualifier title Sunday, dominating the competition as they have since the competition's inception in 2009.
In a rare clash across conference boundaries in Men's DII College rugby, Winona State handed Northern Iowa a 64-12 defeat Saturday.
The regular season is done in the Tri-State Men's DII Conference, and the playoff matchups are set.
The two most interesting results of the final weekend came in the Tri-State North, where 4-0 Sacred Heart played 3-1 RPI, the defending conference champs, and 3-1 Siena took on 1-3 Union.
