SE Warren HS Shoots to Varsity Status

After three seasons in existence, the Southeast Warren High School rugby team in Liberty Center, Iowa has been granted varsity status.

The School Board voted unanimously - 4-0 - to approve the measure, capping what is a meteoric rise to varsity status, at least by rugby standards.

Italy Beats HSAAs Late
The High School All Americans fell 20-9 to Italy's U18s Tuesday in Rio Cuarto at the 4 Naciones tournament. The HSAA team led 9-7 late thanks to three Ben Cima penalty kicks, but a penalty kick and a late try saw the Italians through. HSAA lineup:1. Seattle, New York Get World Club 7s Schedule

The schedule for the World Club 7s is out with the New York and Seattle teams included.

New York returns to the tournament because they won the Pate in 2013. Seattle entered because that team won the Elite City 7s in Houston in June.
