With AIC's 45-20 defeat of Middlebury, the ECRC conference season is complete. AIC finishes 1st, while Middlebury, which had a shot at 1st, slips to 4th.
Middlebury ended the season 4-2, but so did BC and UMass. Both teams ended the season with big victories, and thus get past the Panthers on points difference.

Sunday is arrival day for the USA players as they prepare to face the mighty All Blacks in less than a week. The USA players, some of whom played this weekend in overseas pro games - Samu Manoa helping Northampton win, Blaine Scully on the wing in Leicester’s loss - will have a regular week to prepare for the #1 team in the world.

In a clash of two well-regarded women’s college teams in the Northeast, American International College scored with time up to defeat Army 34-31 Saturday.
AIC trailed 31-29 with no time left when they burrowed their way to the Army tryline, and No. 8 Jess Davis scored to win the gam for the Massachusetts school.
