Rugby NJ recently completed its first Fall Rugby Sevens Series. The 4 Tournament series brought together HS 7’s teams from around the New Jersey/New York metro area. “It was a way for players to continue the 7’s they had played over the summer, and to build on the skills they’ll use in the Spring 15’s season.
Fiji defeated the USA 20-14 in Vannes, France in a game where the USA played more of the rugby, had multiple chances to score, and saw the winning try disappear before their eyes.
The USA v Fiji game set to kick off today, Friday, Nov 21 at 1pm ET, 10am PT, will be streamed live by World Rugby (pka the IRB).
