Life University, currently ranked #1 by Goff Rugby Report, and South Carolina, currently ranked 23rd, meet up in what is essentially the opening game for each for the 2015 winter/spring season.
When one thinks of girls high school rugby in the Midwest, two teams come to mind: Divine Savior Holy Angels and Catholic Memorial. The Wisconsin duo is the standard for their age group, but that doesn’t mean they have a monopoly on talent. Reina Anderson is proof of such.
The Girls High School All American (GHSAA) program is nearly three years old, but it hasn’t played any real competition. During the previous two summers, Stars & Stripes camps drew the top 50 players from around the country to Colorado, where the attendees experienced a high-performance environment for a week.
The Atlantis U16 boys select side has named its squad for the Las Vegas Invitational. The team is made up entirely of 15-year-old high school players, most from the Mid-Atlantic states.
Among the list is 7s prop Chase Schor Haskin, who was a participant in the High School All American winter camp. He plays for Weston HS in Florida.
