Report from Cal Rugby – Using a completely new lineup, with 10 frosh-sophs in the Starting XV and a stream of underclassmen among the reserves, the Golden Bears rang up 12 tries to defeat Stanford, 78-3, Wednesday night on Witter Rugby Field in the 109th year of the annual match for the Scrum Axe.
There was solid talent on display at the LVI’s Girls High School Elite division, but all eyes were on the All Americans in their debut performance. It is so rare to view national age grade teams at a well attended U.S. event, and today’s spectators were eager to know what a team of the best high schoolers looks like.

USA national team flyhalf Adam Siddall has taken himself out of the game of rugby for the remainder of 2015.
Siddall has been battling a series of concussions suffered while playing, with the last one being in the USA's game against Romania. While in New Zealand to visit his family, he consulted with doctors, and decided he needed to sit out 2015.
Day One of the CRC Qualifier for the Las Vegas Invitational is done with some impressive teams out of the running for that coveted spot in the NBC-covered tournament in Chester, Pa. in June.
