Some notes from the USA men’s 7s team trip to Hong Kong and Tokyo, in now particular order.

In Hong Kong the Eagles made the top eight for the fourth tournament in a row in Hong Kong, but then missed the top eight in Tokyo for the first time since Dubai.

The kickoff times and match-ups for the women's college spring Round of 16 are listed below. All times are listed in the host sites' local times. Albuquerque gets a jump on the field, as its DI playoffs begin Friday afternoon and the DII semifinalist will be named Saturday. All of the DI and DII spring semifinalists will be known by Sunday 5pm PT. Stay tuned for previews.

Indiana won the Big Ten Universities qualifier tournament this weekend, and in fact it wasn't really all that close. IU is highly motivated to do well in 7s, and thumped Illinois - who had already beaten Michigan, our previously highest-ranked Big Ten team - in the final.

Davenport continued to impress last Saturday, as the team defeated DI Michigan 54-0. The victory marked a nice rebound after the 15-6 loss to DI Lindenwood in late March.

From USA Rugby (Chad Wise and Salty Thompson) LIEGE, Belgium – The Boys High School All-Americans finished their JV tour of Europe Tuesday with a 53-24 defeat of Belgium.

Salty Thompson’s under-17 group will return to the U.S. with a 2-1 record on tour, with Saturday’s 31-8 win against Belgium following an earlier loss to France in Marcoussis.
