GRR: No name
When one thinks of girls high school rugby in Texas, alum Meya Bizer is the first image that comes to mind. But Aircraft Charter Solutions Player of the Week Whitney Wilson has been carving out her piece of Texas history. A four-year star at Kingwood, Wilson capped her high school career with another Back of the Year nod, awarded after last weekend’s state 7s championship.
Some excellent live collegiate rugby on TV and the Web this weekend:

Kickoff is 1pm Pacific Time, 4pm Eastern.
If you’re one who enjoys seeing interesting facial expressions on people, tell St. Mary’s players and coaches that Davenport has the best scrum in the country, and watch them wage internal battles to not reply.
Since BYU joined the national playoffs in 2004, the Cougars have made ten major championship games.
The only years they missed were 2004, when they were eliminated in the DI quarters by eventual finalists Cal Poly, and 2005, when they were beaten in the semis by Utah. After that, the Cougars made five straight DI finals, two DIA finals, and now three straight Varsity Cup finals.
The Argentina Jaguars and USA Selects have named their squads for the second game between the two teams on May 2.
The Jaguars won the first match 54-6 against a fairly inexperienced Selects team. This USA squad has a few more caps under their belt.
