The West Coast 7s kicks off on Saturday and will be the first serious run-out in college 7s for almost all of the 12 teams participating, and they are teams that have high expectations through the season.
Cal is the #1 seed, with UCLA #2, Arizona State #3, Cal Poly #4, and Arizona #5. (The seeds were voted on by the participating coaches.)
The post-season is nearly upon the Wisconsin girls high school league, and out front, as usual, are Divine Savior Holy Angels (DSHA) and Catholic Memorial. The pair compete in different pools; however the Dashers got an inside look at their state rival during the Crusaders’ 67-0 win over the DSHA JV team last week.
Endicott College’s Men’s rugby team sits undefeated in the Colonial Coast Conference, after beating Wheaton 57-17 last week.
With Caleb McMullin and John Clavin playing well, the Endicott squad is pushing 4-0 Salve Regina in the men’s DII conference.
According to Coach Bob Ryman, the strong record for the Gulls is due to recruiting.

In a rare midweek game in Men's DII college rugby, Roger Williams travels to Bentley tonight for a makeup game.
RWU and Bentley were supposed to clash on Saturday, but the game was rained out. With Roger Williams sitting at 3-0 and Bentley at 2-1, this game has big ramifications.
RWU Head Coach Chris Palombo said his team still needs to imporve.
