Playoff time is here in Men's D2 college rugby.
And if we don't have playoffs, we have crucial games.
As Grand Valley State marches through one of the team’s better seasons, it’s pretty clear they have a pretty special group of players.
And while Calvin Schwandt and Reinhardt Stipp provide a very smart halfback combo, the heart and soul of the team is their forwards and, more specifically, their back row.
Back on the schedule the West Coast 7s collegiate tournament will be at the Olympic Training Center this weekend in Chula Vista, Calif.
Rugby Ohio's 7s season comes to a close this coming weekend with one team in a position of heavy favorite.
But, of course, that isn't always a welcome position to be in.

It’s still early days in CRAA’s women’s D1 action, but a classic rivalry match did get played this past weekend.
Arizona State defeated Arizona 22-12 in what was a useful match for both. The Wildcats did lose, but they took a lot of positives out of the game, said club president Aspen Wresinke.
