GRR: College Men
D1A Rugby has announced that it will suspend play through the end of March.
Here is the statement released by the D1A Executive Committee:
Central Washington rode a huge second-half surge to beat Army 51-20 Wednesday afternoon in a meeting at Cal Maritime in Vallejo, Calif.
The result cemented CWU as a top-10 team, and virtually guaranteed a place in the D1A playoffs.
In This Week in College Rugby Week 9 sees an intense few days of high-ranking matchups.
Matt McCarthy takes a closer look at Army vs Cal, while Alex Goff breaks down the difference-maker in Saint Mary's vs Navy, and Gift Egbelu examines Lindenwood vs Arkansas State.
We've shuffled around the rankings a bit, as we're seeing a more consistent series of solid results in Florida and in the Heart of America.
Very soon we'll see at least one team make a case for being in the top ten. Oregon is on a roll, but so is South Florida, and Kansas.
