Asked to characterize Sean Hardiman’s game at scrumhalf for Iona in their victory over Army this past weekend, Iona Head Coach Bruce McLane was succinct - “he played the best game of his life.”

Good timing for Hardiman, as he did so against a formidable opponent. Hardiman himself said his day, and the team’s day, came down to a lot of self-belief.

With an impressive 66-0 shut out of Troy University, the University of Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns are now in position to challenge for the Deep South conference title.

"We are finally getting better chemistry within the team," said Cajun player Rod Blouin. "We're starting to play more for each other."

The latest Goff Rugby Report Men's DII college rankings see some movement, as VMI moves up to #3 and Salisbury to #4 after Salisbury beat previous #3 Towson.

Rowan won big over a Drexel team that had produced a few good results, and they get bumped up as a result. Salve Regina and RPI both get bumps for good results this weekend.

The fall culmination of the season for many DI teams, the ACRC Bowl Series was a huge success last year, and looks to build on that event with a new series of matchups on November 20 and November 21 at the Rugby Athletic Center in Charlotte, NC.

Ardmore, Pa. —The Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference (SCRC) has decided that its championship game will be played in Charlotte on Nov. 21 as part of the ACRC Bowl Series.
